Welcome! After miles of travel, thousands of pictures and some epic adventures, I thought it might be worth recording these escapades in this blog. I confess that I do so with a degree of discomfort, wondering who could possibly be interested in my travels. For years, I have kept a digital photo album of my travels and a travel journal but have never demonstrated sufficient hubris to make it public.
Currently, I continue to travel when work permits. And fortunately, I travel sometimes with my job. But the longer term goal is for my husband and I to retire with the intent to travel the world for at least 5 years.
So… this blog is a work in progress. I have started by creating some posts from past travel and will endeavour to keep current travels up to date. Without discipline or rigour, I will provide reviews of gear and places as circumstances warrant.
I have no doubt that this blog will evolve over time. I welcome your comments and look forward to hearing from you.
